It was fun to learn about setting up a survey in Google forms.  I can see where it would be really handy for a classroom teacher to use.  With what I've learned, I could now help someone set up a survey and enjoy doing it.

Learning about "Wikis" has helped me learn more about using Google docs.  I can answer more questions from students when I've actually used them.  I found them very easy to use and like the sharing feature.  I can see how they work well for class projects.  I also like that you can see your work at home.

In looking for a video for my blog entry, I found this one under TED Talks--Diana Laufenber: How to Learn? From Mistakes?  Her ideas of students taking ownership of their projects and learning from their mistakes seems so different from what I'm used to, but technology has made it possible to do so much more with information right there.  It was exciting to think of how students could be challenged when given a project with a wide scope.

Me--Blogging?

I'm not sure what I'm doing, but I'm hoping to learn how to blog and work with other new technology tools.  Someone has told me I can learn new things.  Now I need to go out of my comfort zone and do it.  I'm hoping I can tell of my successes in the future.
